The Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers program is a collaborative effort between local law enforcement groups and concerned citizens.

If you know of criminal activity within Johnson County call CrimeStoppers at 358-TIPS (8477) and a trained operator will take your information. You will not have to give your name. You will be asked details such as the type of crime, identity of person(s) committing the acts, location of the crime along with any other pertinent details that investigators need.

Even if you do know the identity of the suspect, a description of the person is helpful to investigators. Many times there are multiple people in an area that have the same name so the more information you can provide the better. If the information you provided leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1000.

Check the Latest News page for updates on rewards being offered for information about specific crimes.
